A special moment for the MESA project
During the prestigious Anuga international fair in Cologne — a global reference point for the Food & Beverage sector — the winner of the special MESA gift basket was selected!
In this photo, the lucky winner — a Greek importer who has always shown great appreciation for Mediterranean agri-food excellence, had his business card drawn just moments ago, bringing excitement and smiles to the MESA stand!
The basket features some of the best sustainable products from Crete, Sardinia, and Mallorca — the three Mediterranean islands that form the heart of the MESA (Mediterranean Islands for Sustainable Agriculture) project, promoting environmentally friendly farming methods and animal welfare.
The project is implemented with the support of the Επιμελητήριο Ρεθύμνης, the Camera di Commercio Cagliari-Oristano, Cambra de Comerç de Mallorca and the Insuleur uniting local producers under the shared vision of sustainability and collaboration.
A small gesture with a big message: sustainability can be enjoyed, shared, and rewarded.
