The Future of EU Agriculture: Sustainability
Last week marked a pivotal moment in shaping the future of agriculture in the EU! President Ursula von der Leyen received the Strategic Dialogue on the Future of EU Agriculture report, which outlines key recommendations for competitive, sustainable agrifood systems. This vision aligns perfectly with the goals of the MESA Project, where three EU Mediterranean islands—Crete, Sardinia, and Mallorca—work together to promote sustainable farming practices, climate action, and ecofriendly foodproduction.

Together, these efforts will help the EU build a future of sustainable agriculture that balances economic growth with environmental stewardship and social equity.
