The MESA Project at BIOFACH
MESA proudly announces its participation at BIOFACH, showcasing sustainable agricultural excellence from the Mediterranean islands.
We’re excited to share that the MESA project will be present at BIOFACH with our own stand!
MESA — Mediterranean Islands for Sustainable Agriculture — is an initiative that promotes sustainable agricultural practices and high-quality agri-food products from three Mediterranean islands: Crete (Greece), Sardinia (Italy), and Mallorca (Spain). The project highlights how these regions are embracing environmentally friendly farming, protecting biodiversity, and contributing to climate resilience while preserving traditional agricultural heritage.
Our mission focuses on:
– Raising awareness of eco-friendly production methods and sustainable products from island agriculture.
– Supporting climate action and environmental protection through soil health, water management, reduced pesticide use, and biodiversity enhancement.
– Boosting economic resilience by strengthening local producers and expanding access to new markets, especially in Germany.
– Offering workshops and training to educate producers and consumers about sustainable food systems.
Come visit us at our stand at BIOFACH!
We’d love to show you more about how MESA is driving sustainability in the Mediterranean through innovation, tradition, and collaboration.
Let’s shape a greener future together!
